With microsuction, there is no need to oil your ears before attending your appointment. However a few drops of olive oil the night before your appointment can be helpful.
We will take a detailed medical history of your ear and explain in detail what to expect from the procedure.
Using a video otoscope you will be shown the wax in your ear canal before treatment and then your clean canal and ear drum afterwards.
In most instances, your wax will be gently microsuctioned away. In some cases, patients may prefer manual extraction or irrigation, both of which we provide.
Once your canals are unblocked and clear of wax we recommend keeping your ears dry for 72 hours afterwards to let the ears build up a small amount of protective wax.
We offer a fixed price of £65.00 for one or both ears. Additionally, in the rare event of follow-up appointments being necessary, you will not incur any extra costs
